Tiger Woods Has a New Girlfriend….So What

I’m wondering if I will I have to hear about Tiger Wood’s sex life for the rest of my life?  All the man did was get some side nookie.  Not exactly epic lore!  If it was a big media story every time a powerful man cheated on his wife, we would never hear about any other news. He didn’t break any laws, but yet he lost million dollar sponsors, while America laughs with David Letterman for cheating on his wife, with his whole staff, and who actually may have broken laws. Isn’t there a law against bosses using their power for sexual favors?  But that’s how the media (the tool) operates. I get that Tiger is a tabloid personality now.  But here are some recent sound bites about Tiger’s love life:

Tiger has been spotted recently with a new lady friend, who bears some resemblance to Nordegren, his ex-wife.  The blonde beauty is Alyse Lahti Johnston, a 22-year-old aspiring golf pro originally from Cleveland, Ohio. Johnston moved to the Windermere, Fla., estate where her mother and stepfather live after she graduated from Ohio State last year.

When Johnston decided she wanted to train for the LPGA Tour a few months ago, her stepfather hired a private coach, who introduced Johnston to Woods. The two met at a golf game and have since become “friendly.”  But don’t expect them to get serious. “It appears Johnston has no intention of getting serious either with Woods, who is 13 years, her senior. She is a really nice girl, smart and super friendly. And she’s also a bit of a wild child. She definitely likes to have fun.

I’m convinced we will have to know everything about whomever he is dating, of course we have to know she is blonde and similar to his ex-wife. One media expert said this:  “Remember Tiger is trying to rebuild his image. … The last thing he wants the public to see at the moment is him with a young pretty blonde girl.”  Is that code for you better not mess with innocent little white girls?

Johnson may be a little white girl, but she’s not so innocent.  Indeed, Johnston was arrested on suspicion of DUI last year.

In the mug shot taken after her October 9th arrest, Johnston hardly looks like the same woman photographed recently on Woods’ yacht. She hasn’t really kept a job for terribly long, but she seems like a happy-go-lucky fun girl who’s hanging out with Tiger.”  Isn’t funny how when these young white girls go and party and get in trouble (i.e. Lindsey Lohan, Britney Spears), they are called happy-go-lucky party girls.  If they are incredibly rich (i.e. Paris Hilton), they are called socialites.  But let a Sister do the same thing, rich or poor, and she is called a burden to society.

Meanwhile, the media is getting triple mileage points for this one. While white America sneers and bows up against his romantic interest, and  Black America, now enraged that he would run back to the same type of woman that got him screwed up in the first place, the “enlightened” crowd who knows that love has no color can be appalled by the media’s most recent headlines.

You have to be kidding!!!  What are they trying to insinuate here?  Hell they didn’t waste that much print on Woody Allen’s sex life.   Even if he did know her when she was seven, why you telling us that?  And why use that tone?  Isn’t it sort of American Romanticism to come back home and find that the little girl next door has grown up? Unlike Woody, Tiger just knew her parents.  He didn’t raise her, he didn’t invest time, money, and tears trying to prepare her for the future.  When she was 7 she didn’t call him “daddy” and he was never married to her mother.     She is a “happy-go-lucky” 22-year-old woman, who knows what she wants, and apparently she knows how to get it.    I wonder if they do get together and get married will the headlines read:  “Tiger weds girl he used to baby sit”? Trust me the media will never let us forget that. But they never did kick any dust on Don Johnson who was in his mid-twenties when he started having sex with 14-year-old Melanie Griffith.   Steven Tyler was in his late twenties, and legal guardian to 14-year-old Julia Holcomb, when he first started sleeping with her.  Wait.  Those girls were 14.  They weren’t in a relationship with them; they molested and raped them.  And instead of going to jail, they both go on to highly lucrative careers.  But they derail Tiger over falling for a 22-year-old legal blonde.

Recently, when Steven Tyler was asked to describe his relationship with Julia years ago, he indeed admitted that he was in love with her, and that their love was “mysterious”, “incredible”, and “delicious.”  Did he just say mysterious, incredible, and delicious? Fool please.  He and Woody Allen should be sharing a cell and a page on the national sex crime registry.

Don’t tell me anything about the background of Tiger Wood’s girlfriend.   If you want some truly perverted history look into people like Jack Nicholson, Warren Beatty, Hugh Heffner, and I have already mentioned Woody Allen and Stephen Tyler, just to name a few.  But when they do it they are playboys.  Isn’t it strange how playboys and happy-go-lucky fun girl both have a jolly tone?  It’s like the line in rapper Mos Def song Mr. Nigga: “When white boys doing it well, it’s Success, when I start doing it well it’s Suspect.”
