Los Angeles — After missing her first day of community service at the Los Angeles County morgue, actress Lindsay Lohan gets a second chance to appear on time Friday. But did she?
“Lindsay arrived at the morgue approximately 20 minutes late. The morgue’s time clock indicates she was 40 minutes late….when was the last time you showed up almost an hour late for work and was able to say ‘you’d be in again tomorrow’?
Just a day earlier, a judge rebuked Lohan for similar failures, revoked her probation, and forced her to post $100,000 bail. Why is she on probation?
Lohan, 25, is on probation after pleading guilty in May to stealing a necklace from a Venice, California, jewelry store. She served five weeks of home confinement ending in June for that misdemeanor theft and violation of probation.
Lohan’s legal woes began in 2007 with two drunken driving arrests and have been compounded by her failure to attend counseling classes and her failures of alcohol and drug tests. Her current probation called for her to perform 360 hours at the Los Angeles Downtown Women’s Center and 120 hours at the county morgue within a year.
Why was she late? “Her lateness was due to a combination of not knowing what entrance to go through and confusion caused by the media waiting for her arrival.
I know this is NOT news! Any other “average” person and this would not even be a headline. All these news channels and reporters should start focusing on things that actually mean something to all of their viewers and readers, not this nonsense of what Lindsey Lohan did this time. WHO CARES?
Frankly, I’m sick and tired of Lindsay’s criminal activity disguised as “antics”. If a black person had stolen that necklace to feed their starving family, they would be in jail and the only news would be how the NAACP failed to get them out. (A sister in Atlanta spent two months in prison for nothing.) If it was any regular person, they would be in jail without bail and with extra time tacked on for the OBVIOUS contempt of court.
Why does she get special treatment? One, she is a self-centered idiot who has had more chances than she deserves. Two, money and it doesn’t hurt that the media has labeled these Hollywood chicks as party girls. She couldn’t care less about what some judge has to say and the fool on the bench needs to stop posing for the camera and send her off to jail and leave her there.
