When will the Minstrel Show end? 

Authorities say rapper DMX has been arrested on drug and animal-cruelty charges in Phoenix following an overnight raid on the rapper's house. The Maricopa County sheriff's office says the 37-year-old, whose real name is Earl Simmons, at first tried to barricade himself in his bedroom. He came out as a SWAT team entered during the early-morning raid Friday.

Rapper Foxy Brown in trouble- Less than a month after being released from prison, rapper Foxy Brown pleaded guilty Thursday to menacing a woman with her Blackberry phone and avoided another possible prison sentence Brown, 29, whose real name is Inga March and, pleaded guilty to menacing a Brooklyn woman, a misdemeanor, in July 2007 while on probation for assaulting two nail salon stylists over a $20 manicure.

RAPPERS in the spotlight acting like their part of 21st century minstrel show. It is obvious the way the media portray rappers. They have become the modern day blackface. These Rappers are puppets in the big game of making black people look negative. Why else would mainstream news outlets do stories on a rapper in trouble with the law. I understand if MTV, Rolling Stones Magazine, or any other entertainment news outlet does stories on rappers criminal behavior. But why is these so-call big-time news outlets (CNN, MSNBC, USA Today, etc) doing stories on rappers? Why, because it is another opportunity to make black people look ignorant, violent and criminal. A Rapper getting into trouble with the law happens so much it‘s not even news anymore. Many times it is a publicity stunt . The rapper is trying to make themselves fit into a specific rap character or their trying to keep it real. Either way. We wouldn’t hear about it unless the media report it. To me, the mainstream news outlets love to provide fuel for confederate flag, bumper sticker owner Jim Bob and his racist ideology? 

Every time this negativity is in the news Jim Bob cranks up his dumb-ass ideology. See “I told you Black People are criminals and need to go back to Africa“. However, at the same time you never hear him say Britney Spears needs to swim back to Europe. I know the puppets, I mean rappers, contribute to the negativity, But it would help if the mainstream media did more positive stories of young Blacks to balance out the negative ones. A matter of fact for every negative story of a white superstar, the media does thousand positive stories of young white person ex: What young entrepreneur made millions with an internet start-up company. That is balance. I like balance, can we get more positive black stories to balance out the negative black stories. Sports stars making millions don’t count. Just another stereotype. 

The media can report all this negativity, but can’t do a major story when a black child has been kidnap.
